Dandelion Psychotherapy is the private practice of Dani Drake, AMFT.
About Dani Drake
Therapy has been a big part of my healing journey, and I hope it can be a part of yours.
I grew up in rural, Northern California with working-class values. Because of that, I’m sensitive to the particular pain and struggles financial strain causes families.
I received a bachelor’s degree in Community Studies with an emphasis in Gender Studies from the University of California Santa Cruz. I attended California Institute of Integral Studies, and graduated in 2022 with my master’s in Counseling Psychology from the Community Mental Health Program.
I identify as queer and neurodivergent. I bring the wisdom of my communities and my personal, lived experience to my work. I try to create space to explore and develop each individual’s unique identity while building resilience and self-acceptance. As a therapist, I have been complimented on my warmth, empathy, humor, and attunement. I’m humbled and honored to co-create safe relationships that ignite clients’ innate abilities to heal, grow, and connect.
When I am not working, I enjoy reading fantasy novels, exploring nature with my dog, singing along to 90’s music, and talking about feelings and politics with my loved ones.
I am supervised by Shea Lowery, MS, LPC, ACS Oregon license #C4858. My Associate Registration number is #R7883.
